MY name is Stephen Nastasi. I have been in the home building industry for more than 20 years. I have built hundreds of houses in many different states. I have worked for some of the biggest builders in the country and I am very familiar with not only the latest building practices but many different types of building practices. There isn’t much in the building industry that I haven’t seen. I not only have supervised every subcontractor needed to build a house, but I also have learned how to do most of the
work involved in building a house by myself. I have owned my own business for years that catered to some of the top 10 builders in the country. The business that I owned handled the punch list and warranty work for thousands of homeowners. So I am well aware of what most common and not so common problems that a new or old house can have.
I also have built many additions and performed many remodels in new and old houses. I pride myself on being reliable and prompt while also giving 110% in everything that I do. I consider myself a perfectionist and would treat your house as if it were my own.
Although I have extensive knowledge in the older ways of building, I consider my strongest knowledge is in new construction. I know most of the top builders’ building practices and the “tolerance” levels that they build with. I also know what things get overlooked and how to catch something before it gets covered up which could have saved you many headaches after you move in. Even the best builders miss things when building a house. The saying in the business is: “the more eyes in the field, the better.” I know from past experiences that every time you walk inside a house, you see it differently. I know what to look for in the framing stage and in the final walk-through. You only get one chance to make a list before settlement and there are certain things that must be on that list or you might not be able to get it fixed. All builders have the major systems on warranty but as far as the cosmetic things that you have to live with everyday, they might not be covered in their warranty. I am one of the only people who have a non-biased look at your house so let me be your eyes. I can also point out helpful homeowner maintenance tips that could save you from future damage to your house. |
